Carlo Preti's painting is full of lively and pure colours, characterized by unusual and original themes, at the beginning influenced by American pop art and by hiperrealism. Careful and meticulous observer, he looks for the subjects of his paintings in town, in his polluted and chaotic Mestre. He is fascinated by the urban microcosm, by engines, by structures, by the products of industry to dock to "his" kiosks, transfigured into "precious objects" set in the enchanted world of fairy stories. | ||
